River City Youth Strings is a welcoming orchestra program designed to introduce young musicians to ensemble playing in a supportive and structured environment.

The program helps students build foundational skills while experiencing the joy of making music together. Through guided rehearsals and performance opportunities, students develop confidence, listening skills, and musical independence.

Our youth orchestra is designed for elementary students with beginner to intermediate playing abilities. No audition required, just a love of music and willingness to learn!

Eligibility

Students in 1st–5th grades
Beginner to early-intermediate players
Violin, viola, cello, & bass
Perfect for young musicians preparing for school orchestras or those currently taking private lessons.

Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Program Experience

River City Youth Strings provides a positive experience for first-time orchestra students where students learn collaboration, responsibility, and musical expression.
